Ahu is a DJ as well as a singer, and she holds down a weekly radio show in Istanbul as well as a regular slot for RBMA Radio. This time she’s put together a mix of new stuff she’s enjoying for Sunsplash, an excellent festival in Turkey that is hosting the likes of Theo Parrish, Benji B and many more in May this year.

The original version of Ahu’s To: Love. is a beautiful, ghostly Paul White production in which mournful synths and a skittering beat offer Ahu a backdrop for her song of the joys of heartache. Now White’s close friend and OHM associate Tightface retools the track with a much tougher edge – if you don’t know his music this is a great introduction to a guy whose beats make mincemeat of much bigger names.
